Ph.D., Government, Cornell University, 1985; M.A., Government, Cornell University, 1982; A.B., Political Science, Miami University, 1979 Mr. Rock is presently chair of the Faculty Policy and Conference Committee (FPCC), and is a member of the International Studies Program. Dr. Rock's research interests include the causes of peace, democratic peace theory, and the efficacy of inter-state influence strategies, especially deterrence and appeasement. He is currently engaged in a project aimed at identifying and explaining differences in foreign policy attitudes among Roman Catholics, Mainline Protestants, and Evangelical Protestants in the United States. |
