Stephen R. Rock, Professor: A.B., Miami University; M.A., Ph.D., Cornell University. Stephen Rock's research interests include the origins of great power reconciliation and the efficacy of inter-state influence strategies, especially deterrence and appeasement. He is currently writing a book on the influence of religion on foreign policy, with an emphasis on the differences in foreign policy preferences among Roman Catholics, Evangelical Protestants, and Mainline Protestants in the United States. Mr. Rock teaches courses on international politics, U.S. foreign policy, defense policy and arms control, the causes of war and peace, and just war theory. |
